CHRISTOPHER JONASSEN
We’ve been loving these dreamy photos by Norwegian artist Christopher Jonassen for a long time now, and it seems fitting to share them now as we bid goodbye to summer. These images are part of a series called ‘Before We Begin’ - here’s a bit about the series as translated from the artist’s website:
‘For Jonassen the image of the cloud is a metaphor for our attempts to create order out of chaos, and to understand life and the world around us. Can we give meaning to our lives? Or everything around us consists only of an ever-changing chaos? “I interpret this exhibit as an image of man’s existential quest, the refusal to do anything you do not know the consequences - we see a moment before something happens, before decisions are made.”
